The Bacillus subtilis cell wall provides a protective sacculus about the vital constituents of the bacterium and consists of a collection of anionic hetero- and homopolymers which are mainly polysaccharidic. We recently demonstrated that unfixed walls were able to trap and retain substantial amounts of metal when suspended in aqueous metal salt solutions. These walls were briefly mixed with low concentration metal solutions (5mM for 10 min at 22°C), were well washed with deionized distilled water, and the quantity of metal uptake (atomic absorption and X-ray fluorescence), the type of staining response (electron scattering profile of thin-sections), and the crystallinity of the deposition product (X-ray diffraction of embedded specimens) determined.Since most biological material possesses little electron scattering ability electron microscopists have been forced to depend on heavy metal impregnation of the specimen before obtaining thin-section data. Our experience with these walls suggested that they may provide a suitable model system with which to study the sites of reaction for this metal deposition.

his study aims to: (1) to know and analyze the extent of volatility (vulnerability) of sharia banking industry in Indonesia in the face of competition (2) to know and analyze factors affecting vulnerability of sharia commercial banks; (3) to know and analyze the extent of sustainable development of sharia banking industry to Indonesia's economic development.The research conducted to measure the vulnerability (volatility) of proto folio of syariah bank using observation period 2015, and the data used is cross section data. The research design used in this research is quantitative research, using asset dimension (asset portfolio, liability portfolio, equity portfolio) and stressor (pressure, including: credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk).The activity plan of this research is: in the initial stage of conducting theoretical study related to the vulnerability related to banking especially BUS; The next step is to determine the asset and stressor dimensions associated with the BUS; Further determine the indicators related to assets and stressors; The next step performs calculations to determine the index of each BUS as well as the dimensions that affect the vulnerabilities faced by each BUS.Target expected outcomes can be generated from this research is: for the object of research (BUS) provide a solution for BUS to deal with and overcome the vulnerabilities encountered and policies that must be done. For policy makers, the results of this study are expected to provide input in decision-making and other policies.Measurement of vulnerability to be performed related to banking operations in the face of competition and the continuity of BUS in Indonesia. The outcomes of this study are expected to be included in Bank Indonesia journals, the selection of this journal is based on studies conducted in the banking sector, especially BUS in Indonesia.

We report triple differential cross-sections (TDCSs) for the electron impact single ionization of tungsten atoms for the ionization taking place from the outer sub shells of tungsten atoms, viz. W (6s), W (5d), W (5p) and W (4f). The study of the electron-induced processes such as ionization, excitation, autoionization from tungsten and its charged states is strongly required to diagnose and model the fusion plasma in magnetic devices such as Tokamaks. Particularly, the cross-section data are important to understand the electron spectroscopy involved in the fusion plasma. In the present study, we report TDCS results for the ionization of W atoms at 200, 500 and 1000 eV projectile energy at different values of scattered electron angles. It was observed that the trends of TDCSs for W (5d) are significantly different from the trends of TDCSs for W (6s), W (5p) and W (4f). It was further observed that the TDCS for W atoms has sensitive dependence on value of momentum transfer and projectile energy.

Abstract Background Despite recent advances in the field of medical sciences, children's developmental motor disorders (DMDs) are considered as one of the challenges in this area. Establishment of electronic systems for recording and monitoring children's DMDs can play an effective role in identifying patients and reducing the costs and consequences of the disease management. The aim of this study was to identify and validate the requirements for a registry system of children's DMDs in Iran. Methods The present descriptive–analytical study was performed in three main stages. In the first step, the literature was reviewed to identify the requirements. In the second stage, the information obtained from the literature review was used to develop a questionnaire for validating and selecting the requirements for an electronic system of recording DMDs in infants. In the final stage, the requirements were validated by selected experts (22 specialists). Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 software (IBM Corporation, New York, United States). Results According to findings, the requirements of a registry system for children's DMDs were identified in three areas of demographic (24 data elements), clinical data (87 data elements), and technical (28 capabilities). In the demographic section, data elements of “family history of motor disorders” (mean = 1.18) and “drug allergy” (mean = 2.9) gained an average score of < 2.5 and therefore were not selected as data elements necessary for the registry system of data recording and monitoring children's DMDs. Conclusion In such developing countries as Iran, standard information recording and management is not properly done due to a large amount of information and the lack of comprehensive information registry systems. The findings of this study can help to design and establish information registry systems in the field of children's DMDs. Based on the findings of this research, it is recommended that future research be done to explore infrastructures necessary for providing a suitable platform to design and implement information registry systems in the field of children's DMDs.
